Is Nammove an official metro app?
No. Nammove is an independent Bengaluru metro journey companion and is not affiliated with BMRCL. Check official metro information and station signs for current services, fares, and platforms.
Does Nammove show live train locations?
There is no live train feed. Journey progress uses your phone’s location when you enable it, or stations you confirm manually. Keep your journey open for location updates; screen-off and background tracking are not supported.
Can I use it offline?
Yes, after a little setup. Open the journey planner online and wait for “Planning ready offline”. You can then plan routes, view the bundled network diagram, and confirm stations without a connection. The street map still needs internet.
Do I need an account or an app download?
No account or download is needed. Nammove is free to use in your browser, in English or Kannada. You can also add it to your phone’s home screen. Your saved journeys and favourites stay in this browser on your device.
